Meet Wild Party from Boerne! I get emails all the time from local artists and bands who are hoping to one day hear their song on the radio. These guys finally inspired me to find a way to feature all the amazing talent we have in San Antonio and South Texas. So a couple times a month I'll feature some of the best local talent I can find online to help expose them to Mix fans who obviously have great taste in music!  Oh, and of course I'm relying on you to rate each one to see if they're really radio ready. RUSH REVIEW: Wild Party reminds me of a more mature All American Rejects, and I mean that in the kindest sense of the word. Strong vocals, great harmonies, good songwriting, and youth without angst.

1. Who are you?  We are from Boerne tx.  At least Lincoln (lead singer and my brother) Lucas Hughes (guitarist) and myself Jake (Bassist).  Ethan the drummer is from Rockwall, tx which is 30 minutes east if Dallas.

3. How'd you get started?  My little bro showed  me some stuff that he and Lucas were writing when he was 17.  He's 22 now.  I was floored by the songs that he and lucas had written. We hit the ground running with the release of our video, on january 4th and the record Phantom Pop on january 15th.  Only two and a half weeks ago.

4. Which band member would wet themselves first if they heard your song on the radio?  I'm not sure which of us would wet ourselves first.  We're so close that we'd probably just all wet eachother simultaneously.  Seriously, I think we would!  That would be amazing!!!!!!!!!!

5. If Russell Rush were in your band what would his job be? Are you offering to play?  Cause i can tell you right now, we need a cowbell player yesterday ;-)
